H. P. Yogesh is a corporate leader who builds technical excellence into business outcomes. Over a 25 year career he has shaped Innotech from a start up consultancy into a multidisciplinary firm of over 100 professionals, delivering technically robust, commercially sound structural solutions across residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, industrial, institutional, and infrastructure sectors.
He combines deep structural expertise—high rise and earthquake resistant design, performance based analysis, rehabilitation, and BIM enabled coordination—with a clear business focus: reduce client risk, optimise cost and constructability, and ensure reliable delivery. That blend of technical depth and commercial clarity is visible across more than 100 complex projects spanning several million square feet. His work includes corporate campuses for global technology firms, large mixed use developments, and high spec hospitality and retail projects, with notable engagements such as the Google and Microsoft India campuses in Hyderabad, Embassy Lake Terraces and Embassy Boulevard in Bengaluru, and major developments across Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Bhubaneshwar, Puri, Kolkata and Goa.
Yogesh believes strong engineering starts at concept. He routinely engages early in design to align architectural intent with structural logic, delivering layouts and systems that cut basement depth, reduce excavation, and simplify construction without compromising aesthetics or performance. Practical innovations—like the “Y column” solution used at an Infosys campus to preserve natural terrain and an existing nala—illustrate his focus on solutions that serve both site context and client objectives.
Under his leadership Innotech has broadened into a single source partner offering structural design, peer review, infrastructure and industrial design, rehabilitation and retrofitting, BIM services, cost surveying, and project management consultancy. He has put in place delivery frameworks, BIM workflows, and quality controls that improve first time drawing accuracy, shorten RFIs, and lower rework—measurable gains that translate into schedule certainty and cost savings for clients.
His approach is pragmatic: clear, constructible detailing; value engineering that preserves design intent while cutting waste; and performance based analysis where risk and resilience matter most. These principles have earned industry recognition, including an ACI Excellence Award for Concrete High Rise Structure and a FIB Award for Outstanding Concrete Structure, alongside multiple client accolades.
Academically grounded with an M.Eng. in Industrial Structures and a B.E. in Civil Engineering, he is also pursuing doctoral research on Earthquake Impact on Tall Structures. He remains actively involved in the profession through lectures, mentorship, industry–academia collaboration, and memberships in the Institution of Engineers (India), the Indian Concrete Institute, and the Indian Association of Structural Engineers.
